Diagnostic Imaging

At Mountain West Medical Center, diagnostic imaging is used to create a graphic depiction of the structures and functions of the body’s organs and other internal systems. These images are used to examine and diagnose certain medical conditions.

Being able to see inside the body without cutting it open was perhaps the most important medical advancement of the 19th century. Today, healthcare facilities all around the world use a variety of technologies to take a peek inside patients. At Mountain West Medical Center, we use advanced imaging technologies, including CT scans and mammography to offer a clear picture of possible issues inside the body.

We know that some imaging procedures can make patients anxious. For that reason, we strive to be more efficient, more comprehensive, and to make you comfortable in every procedure we do. If you have any questions about your imaging test, please ask any of the staff – they’ll be happy to address your fears and concerns.

Mountain West Medical Center is equipped with the modern technology and certified staff to provide the convenience and comfort of both diagnosis and treatment, close to home.

The central scheduling department makes registering for outpatient imaging tests fast and easy. When you prepare to visit us, make sure you bring a physician’s order and your insurance card with you.

Upon your arrival, proceed directly to the outpatient registration department. We’ll get you checked in with your insurance information and consent forms, and will get you sent to the imaging center so you can receive your test.
