Healthcare Pricing Information
At Mountain West Medical Center, our goal is to provide patients with high quality care and the best possible patient experience. We know that the billing and payment process may seem overwhelming at times and we want to be as helpful as possible. Below is some information on pricing and how you can become a better-informed healthcare consumer.
We are happy to follow CMS (Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services) guidelines that require all hospitals to make available a list of standard charges (sometimes called a Chargemaster List) for products and services provided at the facility. This list and background information regarding it and CMS guidelines can be found here:
Shoppable Pricing and Services
Healthcare pricing can be confusing because there are so many variables. Do you have insurance coverage or not? If you do, who is your insurance provider? What plan do you have with that provider? The questions can go on, and on. But to make things easier for you, and to be in compliance with CMS’ requirements, we are very happy to offer an online tool that displays shoppable services in a consumer-friendly format. Need an MRI? Enter your information and see a price estimate for that service. Looking for a discount by paying cash upfront? We can estimate that for you, too. Click the link below to get started.
Simple + Price… Know the Price Up Front.
For those who don’t have insurance coverage, we developed the Simple+Price plan and it offers a single price for common imaging and lab tests, when paid up-front. The price includes the hospital charge and the Radiologist reading fee. That’s price certainty. No confusion. No surprises. No separate bills later. And, it can help you stay on track for optimal health. Find out more.
Surprise Medical Billing Protections
When you get emergency care or get treated by an out-of-network provider at an in-network hospital or ambulatory surgical center, you are protected from surprise billing or balance billing.
